Who Goes First Wheel
End the "who goes first" debate forever. Add names and spin to fairly determine turn order for games, presentations, or any activity.
Perfect For
Using This Preset Well
This wheel decides who goes first. The default entries are Player 1 through Player 4, which is enough for a quick game but not useful until you swap in real names. It is meant for the small daily arguments that eat classroom time: which group presents first, which table lines up first, who starts the board game, who reads the opening paragraph. Add the names or groups, spin once, and that is the answer. If you need a full order rather than just the first slot, keep spinning with Remove winner on and write down each result. Four groups take four spins and produce a complete presentation order in under a minute, with the class watching every step.
Setup checklist
- Replace Player 1 to Player 4 with the names or group names that are actually competing for the first slot.
- Turn on Remove winner if you are building a full order, so each spin picks from those not yet placed.
- Add every group, even ones that would rather go last. Leaving a group off the wheel is a decision, not a random result.
How to read the result
Every entry has an equal chance on the first spin. With four entries, that is 25 percent each. When Remove winner is on, later spins draw only from the remaining entries, so the last name is not really chosen by the wheel at all; it is simply whoever is left. The history panel shows the order the results came in, which is handy when you forget to write it down.
Limits
The wheel does not know who went first last time, so it cannot rotate the honor across weeks on its own. If a student has a reason not to go first, such as a presentation they are nervous about, sort that out before spinning rather than after. This preset is also a close cousin of the party Who Goes First wheel; use whichever list size suits you.
