Using This Preset Well

This wheel picks which fighter you play in Super Smash Bros. The default eight are Mario, Link, Pikachu, Kirby, Samus, Captain Falcon, Zelda, and Meta Knight, which is a small starter set from a roster of more than 80 in Ultimate. Add the rest of the fighters you use, or the whole roster, before treating it as a random pick. The wheel is for two situations. One is the player with a single main who wants to learn the rest of the cast; spin before each match and play the result. The other is a local session with friends where everyone spins instead of choosing, which stops the best player from picking their main every time and makes the matches less predictable. Some groups run a tournament bracket this way, with a fresh spin per round, so no one gets to sit on one fighter all night.

Setup checklist

Add the fighters you have unlocked. Paste list takes the whole roster at once, one name per line.
Remove fighters that anyone at the session refuses to play or that your group has banned.
Turn on Remove winner so a fighter does not repeat until the whole list has been used.

How to read the result

Each fighter on the wheel has the same chance. The result picks a fighter only and says nothing about stage, items, or rules. If two players share one wheel and spin in turn, the second spin can land on the same fighter as the first unless Remove winner is on, and a mirror match is a fine result if the group is happy with it.

Limits

The wheel is not linked to the game and cannot see which fighters are unlocked on your console or which game in the series you are playing. Rosters differ between titles, so the default list may not match yours. It also cannot balance a match between a strong player and a beginner; that is a question of handicap settings, not random selection.
