Using This Preset Well
This wheel picks a character or role at random from a roster you supply. It is deliberately generic. The default ten entries are archetypes rather than names from any one game: Fighter, Tank, Support, Healer, Assassin, Mage, Marksman, Bruiser, Controller, and Duelist. That list works as a first spin for any game with classes, but most people replace it with the actual roster they are playing, whether that is a fighting game, a hero shooter, or a MOBA. The usual reason is the same in every genre. A player has one main, plays that character 90 percent of the time, and wants to be pushed into the rest of the roster. Spin before each match, play whoever comes up, and the odd hours spent on characters you would never choose are where you learn what those characters can do to you. It also settles character picks between friends who keep fighting over the same one.
Setup checklist
- Add the roster of the game you are playing with Paste list, one character per line, and delete the archetypes. It takes a long list in one go.
- Remove characters you have not unlocked, or that are banned in the mode you are playing, so a spin never lands on someone you cannot pick.
- Turn on Remove winner for a roster challenge so every character gets played once before the wheel resets.
How to read the result
Each entry has the same chance per spin. If the roster is large the same character can go unpicked for a long stretch, and if it is small the same one can come up three times in a row. Both are normal. The wheel does not know which characters are strong in the current patch, which ones you already play well, or what your team needs. The archetype defaults are only labels; the wheel cannot tell a Tank in one game from a Tank in another.
Limits
There is no built-in roster for any game, so the wheel is empty of real characters until you fill it. It cannot check unlock status, ranked bans, or team composition, and it does not update when a game adds a new character. For games with several hundred characters the list gets long; consider loading one role or one class at a time instead of the whole roster.
