Using This Preset Well

A visible way to hand out prizes at a stall, a shop counter, a classroom, or a party. The default slices include Grand Prize, Small Prize, and Try Again; replace them with the prizes you can actually give, and use weights if some prizes should be rarer. Everyone can see the slice sizes, which is the whole point of doing it on a wheel.

Setup checklist

List only prizes you have in stock; a Grand Prize slice with no grand prize is a broken promise.
Set weights so rare prizes are rare, and say so out loud: "the big one is one slice in twenty".
Decide in advance whether Try Again means a second spin or the end of that person’s turn.

How to read the result

With equal weights every prize is equally likely, which is usually not what a prize wheel wants; the weights control the odds and the slice sizes show them. This preset cannot be fixed in advance, so the result on screen is the result.

Limits

A prize wheel used for a commercial promotion, a raffle with paid entry, or anything with legal conditions is your responsibility to run correctly. WheelOSpin keeps no record of spins or winners, so note them down as you go.
