This preset selects one of ten equal-size ranges between 1 and 100 (1-10, 11-20, and so on) rather than a single number. It is a fast way to narrow a large number range for raffles, estimation games, or as a first step before picking a specific number within the chosen range.
Setup checklist
- Decide in advance how you will pick a final number once a range is selected, such as rolling a second wheel or drawing from a hat.
- Keep all ten ranges at equal weight for a uniform 10% chance per range.
- Use the plain number-1-to-10 wheel instead if you need one specific number rather than a range.
How to read the result
Each of the ten ranges has the same 1-in-10 chance by default. The result narrows the field to 10 numbers; it does not itself produce a single integer.
Limits
